I will admit that I will never be in a position to own a supercar. Nor for that matter will you. If you are reading this in Norway the only issue to worry you right now is that you can see Russia from your doorstep. But if you manage to turn your head the other way you may well get a glimpse of Brexitshire. Otherwise known as Englandershire.
There resides McLaren Automotive and they have delivered unto us the 720S GT3 race car. It looks as awesome as it looks extreme. And yet it is extreme. The 720s GT3 race car is being developed for both professional and amateur endurance motor racing competitors.
The latter means if you have a bit of dosh from robbing people, then you can buy the 720S GT3 for around £440,000.
Most bank robbers these days are based in the digital realm. They are highly educated individuals who went to a prestigious finishing school before mummy and daddy paid for their education at Oxford and Cambridge University.
Once they graduate, they go straight into the private banking sector where they are taught how to rob professionally with basically junk product, derivatives and or stocks.
These bank robbers are distinguished by their upper-class “wah-wah-yah” accents and when their 10hr working week is done with, they go GT3 racing over the weekends.

Back to the story, the McLaren 720S is currently undergoing intense development testing and will be ready for customers in 2019.
As with the road car, at the heart of the 720S GT3 is the light-weight, carbon fiber MonoCage II chassis structure.
A race-prepared version of the M840T 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine provides the power.
Around 90-percent of the of the components have been changed or optimised for the 720S GT3 race car. The body uses carbon composite panels to keep weight down.
An externally adjustable Salisbury-type limited slip differential is fitted, as are cockpit-adjustable traction control and ABS driver aids.
A new braking system comprises an optimised brake caliper design and enhanced brake cooling, for maximum performance and longevity.
New rear suspension geometry is matched with four-way adjustable dampers and coil-over springs to provide the aerodynamic optimisation (needed to ensure balanced handling and improved corner entry stability).
All in all the McLaren 720S GT3 race car will be.. realy, really… good.
