Es war das erste Mobiltelefon mit einem neuen Formfaktor. Eine verschiebbare Abdeckung (Slider) schützte die Tastatur, wenn es in der Tasche getragen wurde und verlängerte bei Benutzung das Gerät nach unten, so dass das Mikrofon näher an den Mund heranrückte.
