Michelle Dockery's Letty is known to change up her look from time to time...and from hotel robbery to hotel robbery, really. That even includes an $8k wig! One she refused to throw away, but did dye it from red to black, and it really, really worked for her. They all do! From the long blonde lob to the short, cropped blonde look, Dockery, a natural brunette, is able to steal, to be sensuous, and to be deadly serious with each new look on the TNT drama.

Wigs have been such an important part in the storytelling of The Americans -- so much so that the show had to joke about it in season 2 after fans couldn't stop chattering about the looks. That Phillip and Elizabeth Jennings are spies in the 80's only makes their looks more dramatic (and ridiculous). From the perms to the weird facial hair, the show is constantly creating new styles for the pair to try out when deceiving their latest poor fool. Each new season of the FX drama has made the transformations more impressive, and even more vital to the story at hand.

Things got real for Kim Zolciak Biermann...when she had to worry about transporting her wigs for vacation. A notorious wig-wearer, Kim's hair always looks great and she's damn sure to keep it that way. With the new season of the Bravo show chronicling the adventures of her family, we're reminded that things might get out of control with that brood from time to time...but she's always got her hair on lock.

Changing up her look is all in a day's work for Candy...as is the sex stuff. Maggie Gyllenhaal is giving an incredible performance on HBO's hit fall drama. While her job as a streetwalker requires her to take off her clothes, it's that curly blonde wig that's her best work anyway.

In episode 2 of the current fourth season, Ilana opted for an orange wig for a night out on the town, but it wasn't the biggest surprise of the episode (sorry, girl). Always one to play with her look, and paired with her sexy getup, it's hard not to love this wig on her. I mean, no one else in the world could pull it off the way she does, but she really, really does.

As Maddie, Inbar Lavi has gone through her fair share of looks. While her natural, long, brunette locks are gorgeous already, she keeps viewers on their toes as much as she does her marks, switching to wavy blonde hair for an airport getaway or blunt bangs to hook a guy. If you haven't caught up on season 1 yet, the disguises are just one of the many reasons to get on it before season 2 returns in early 2018.
