Moo Cluck Moo Shuts Down Canton Burger Restaurant

National press magnet Moo Cluck Moo has closed the doors at its Canton location. The shutter was announced in a statement shared to the wagyu burger-touting mini chain’s Facebook page on Monday, writing that “after careful consideration, we've decided to close our Canton location in order to focus on our catering and events business.” The company adds that it plans to “open in a more convenient location once we have our mobile kitchens and catering services set up and running smoothly.”

Based out of Dearborn Heights, Moo Cluck Moo expanded to Canton in 2013 and recently launched a location inside Ford Field. The burger chain also became a popular source for national media outlets as an example of a restaurant providing employees with a standard $15 “living wage.”

However, Hometown Life reports that this may no longer be the case, though the outlet could not provide any details on the current pay scale at Moo Cluck Moo. Eater has reached out to the company for more information on these alleged changes as well as what is next for Moo Cluck Moo.
