Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) – Ratified on July 18, 2013. It has not ratified the Optional Protocol to the CRPD.

The Special Needs Scheme is a special scheme under the Central Provident Fund Act which help parents make provisions for children with disabilities, persons with disabilities including all persons who are attending or have attended a SPED school, or who require assistance in at least one ADL. Building Control Regulations – Under the regulations by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), building developers are required to ensure that persons with disabilities can easily gain access to and exit from the whole or part of a building, and able to carry out their activities within the building with reasonable ease.
