Six Flags Over Georgia
Let Your Inner Daredevil Shine at Six Flags Over Georgia
As the largest regional theme park in the Southeast, Six Flags Over Georgia is home to more than 40 rides including 12 roller coasters, three water rides and thrill rides.
Some of the most popular roller coaster rides at Six Flags Over Georgia include:
- Blue Hawk. This coaster features a 122-foot lift hill, and a more than 50 mph first drop.
- Batman: The Ride. It takes riders through relentless loops and twists over the dark streets of Gotham.
- Dare Devil Dive. This ride features a 95-foot-tall vertical lift hill, a 95-degree first drop, three inversions and a top speed of 52 miles per hour.
- Dahlonega Mine Train. An old favorite at Six Flags, it’s a runaway mine car.
- Goliath. This giant roller coaster’s name says it all.
- Twisted Cyclone. The wood and steel twisted cyclone hybrid roller coaster sends riders upside down through three inversions. There is a steep 75-degree initial drop from nearly 10 stories in the air right into a reverse cobra roll perpendicular to the ground.
Six Flags Over Georgia is home to Hurricane Harbor water park, a massive water park and tropical paradise full of wave pools and slippery slides, open late May through September. Tsunami Surge is a dual-slide complex that drops riders down an enclosed five-story drop and whirls them around in a 40-foot wide bowl follow by a zero-gravity plunge out the bottom. Bonzai Pipelines soar through winding curves, dark tunnels and swirling bowls.
