什麼是 F.O.D. ?
曾聽過空軍軍機因F.O.D.而造成意外 請問什麼是 F.O.D. ?
最佳解答: 為了防止鳥擊事件，空軍方面早已設立了一個稱為FOD (Foreign Object Damage)的危機處理小組，專門負責處理諸如此類的意外事件。
(1)跑道異物清除(FOD):以免戰機在起降時吸入異物造成發動機損傷，戰機飛行員也必須在日常訓練課程中加入辨識戰備道地形、地物的訓練，並增長目視起降的操控能力，而地勤人員則須準備後勤補給與便攜式無線電，方便陸空之間的聯絡。
