Norton Folgate, British Land

The Norton Folgate development in Shoreditch by British Land covered 60,000 sq ft across three buildings and ten floors. This project included beautifully designed workspaces, breakout areas, and executive offices, blending modern functionality with the historic character of the area. Dodds and Shute specified and installed the furniture and fittings in collaboration with designer Universal Design Studio.

Working to meet British Lands’ strong sustainability criteria we are pleased the finished project exemplifies a sustainable workspace. Sustainability certifications were prioritised, with 32% holding environmental certifications such as Cradle to Cradle or Indoor Advantage Gold as well as 35% containing recycled content. Standout features of the project were the inclusion of local independent designers and craftspeople as well as carefully refurbished vintage pieces.
