52 photos in 2012 | roundup post

i am chugging away at my 52 photos, but i have to admit i am feeling abit uninspired lately. so, to jog my memory of what i love about this project, i thought i´d go back to last years photos for a bit today.

 

week 37 last year we had music as our theme. i have always loved walking in the forest and when i see what i saw the day i took that photo, i hear music in my heart.
this year elevate was our theme and since i have read Tracy Clarkes book Elevate the everyday, i have been thinking about seeing the evryday a little differently.
 

the 38th week last year the theme was red. i still love that photo!
this year, lone was our theme and i guess it might not be clear, but i am longing (missing) my husband so much these days.
 

week 39 2011 the theme was trail. and as i walk my dogs every day, i have certain favorite trails.
i actually took the photo for this years theme, dot, while on vacation in june. but i thought it was the one to go with for this. the dot, i guess, represent that i am right were i am supposed to be right now.

how are you doing? are you still feeling inspired? or do you also need a boost?!

finally i am back with an update on the 52 photos in 52 weeks project! i thought i´d just share my photos from week 25 until week 32 today. the summer has made the group a bit slow and i am totally getting that since i have been a bit slow myself :)

it is time for the 4th roundup post! 

since last time: 

¤ we have welcomed a few new members to the flickr group  exciting! 

¤ we have started sharing a few themes ahead of time, to give you all some time to play.

¤ we have less photos shared to the pool...

¤ we (read i ) have wondered why...

¤ i have gone through the recap post i did last december about what i have learned from this project and stuff i wanted to change and i think i have done what i wanted to do this year...is there anything i can do to make you post more often? 

i see that since we started sharing themes ahead of time seems to  make you post 2 or more photos at one time, which is totally ok ofcourse. but it might be fun to see everyones interpretation of each theme on thursdays. any thought on that?

At our recent b&b visit, we layed in bed reading books at night and i LOVED it!

52 photos in 52 weeks 2012: roundup post # 3

can you believe that this is my third roundup post already! that means we have come three months into this yearlong photo project! 

how are you doing? is it as fun as it was in the beginning? does the spring weather make you be gone from the computer a bit more than usual? it has been the case with me. and another thing is that i use my phones camera more and more. when i look at my photo folder from march i see that i have taken alot of "real" photos too. so that feels good. 

speaking of good, that was our 7th theme.

week 7: good

i choose this photo of my daughter because she is good. like really a good person. i am so proud of her!

week 8: morning

the light in our livingroom is fantastic in the mornings!

here is the photo i chose for last years morning theme! it was taken in february which means not as much light.

week 9: work

i love my work as a kindergarden teacher and i love the environment where i work. it looks kinda like this still, but we have an owl theme right now so the place is packed with owls.

week 10: down

down is a cool theme. i take alot of pictures where i look down at my feet. you can see more here! although i would advise you to set you feet photos to private on flickr, because i have had a few feet fetish people contact me :)

week 11: sign

a tradition that has recently started on this German bridge: Couples will take a lock, and attach it to the bridge's fence and throw the key into Rhine for love and good luck. So, all the way across the whole bridge the fence is covered in locks..super cool! i was hoping to see one of the bridges with lots of locks on it and while walking one day in the city, i saw a few locks! it made me smile.

week 12: door

i LOVE doors. i have a set on flickr where i have collected doors from all over the world.

our 13th theme is: treasure

it is time for another roundup post of the last themes that we have had to play with the last 4 weeks.

week 4: rest

just the word rest makes me feel good. as a person with returning depressions i crave a lot of restand sleep. the best kind is when i am able to take a nap with one (or both!) of our dogs during the day.

week 5: create

this is another favorite word :)

i am fortunate to have a whole room in our house just to be creative in! i always have a lot of projects going on, so it is really messy. when i go through pweriods of no creative mojo, i feel totally empty and weird. i crave creativity. 

week 6: soft

i could go with all sorts of things with this theme, but i decided with a photo that makes my heart soft.

soft, softness, the touch of softness is a unerversial like i think. i love the feel of a soft stone at the beach, our labs ears and a new fleece jacket. not to mention the softness of a baby´s skin!

week 7: good

the meaning good can be double for me, i always was the good girl in school not getting in to much trouble, never drank never smoked. but being a good girl takes up a lot of energy. especially attimesi did end up in trouble, because of of the feeling of failure and disappointment.

despite my own experiences, i do want my girl to be a good one! 

isn´t it funny how that works :)

and she is. such a good, kind, compassionate and sweet girl. 

note: i did a fun birthday post about my daughter last year.
