Arvay was born in 1980 in [[Graz]]. On 18 February, 2023, Clemens Arvay was found dead at the foot of Austria's Turkfallen cliff, and nearby his final note read, “They’re killing me”. According to his friend Raphael Bonelli, “They’re killing me” was a frequent refrain in his WhatsApp messages.
