Several cities in Norway have tolled entrances to the more central urban areas, the first being [[Bergen]] in 1986.
Starting with Trondheim in 2010, later in Kristiansand, Bergen and Oslo, time differing fees were introduced, so that rush hours (in Oslo 06.30 – 09.00 and 15.00 – 17.00) cost more. The price is (in 2020) typically NOK 28 (€2.8037) per passage, but to enter Oslo to the inner city and leave means passing five stations which costs NOK 126 (€12€10,7066).
