:::::::::::::::::::::Also, everyone thinks that they have good reasons and the people on the other side do not. Put yourself in other people's shoes and look at what you're doing here. [[User:MrOllie|MrOllie]] ([[User talk:MrOllie|talk]]) 23:48, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::::::I don't believe my changes fall under WP:NOR. Repressed memory was the term used in the literature in the 1980's, 1990's and maybe early 2000's to explain the phenomena of how memory may be out of awareness for a period of time. Advances in memory and in understanding of how the mind deals with trauma, means that it is now often explained in the literature by dissociative amnesia. I don't just think I have good reasons, I'm bringing evidence based research so that we can have a robust discussion about the information contained in the article. To say that repressed memory has been discredited is misleading and I am only attempting to bring a more neutral point of view. ::::::::::::::::::::::You are bringing citations which do not make the same connections you are making on the talk page or in the article. You are of course welcome to believe what you like, but you're not welcome to keep trying to force in these changes over the objections of others.
