Line 63:
During the after-wedding party, Rosie reveals she is strongly attracted to Bill, who doesn't reciprocate at first, but eventually gives in.

In the end, the truth has been revealed: the seemingly carefree Donna was actually desperately in need of the love and financial support that finally came to her; young Sophie, who seemed content to run the hotel on the island, instead wanted to travel the world; Sam, the cool/calm "married" American architect, was actually divorced and passionately in love with Donna; Harry, the serenading British banker, turns out to be gay; Bill, the Swedish novelist who seemed to be the loner on a sailboat, was actually happier among people; friend Tanya, the sleek wealthy flirt, had only limited interest in younger men; and friend Rosie, the mild-mannered cookbook author, was in reality a very passionate woman.

The closing scene of the film shows Sophie and Sky sailing to the horizon to begin their life together and see the world, leaving Donna and Sam to live happily ever after on the island.
