:::What? No, that is not how the notation works. dm&sup3; means a cubic decimetre in standard SI notation. It's a common unit in engineering contexts, and so this isn't a hypothetical. mm&sup3; would be a cubic millimetre, of which there are a billion in a cubic metre. If this was actually intended as a joke (I cannot be sure), you might consider following the convention of enclosing it in <nowiki><small</nowiki> tags.
