→‎Birth place in Infobox: definitely a rule against using small tags in an infobox
Line 112:
Oliszydlowski I was following this earlier edit. But it is true, I do not know of an explicit rule that would require this; it only seems natural, given the abbreviated nature of everything in the infobox. *Well, there's definitely an accessibility guideline that discourages use of small in an infobox: see MOS:SMALL. Like many wikipedia guidelines this wasn't delivered from the heavens chiseled in stone, so there's no reason to expect anyone would know that wikipedia has made that style decision if they hadn't run across it before. I used to use smaller text occasionally in infoboxes before I realized that this was a no-no. Given pause to reconsider, I saw that I agreed with the rule and stopped. ::Why not just link to the German name of the place as it was then? If anyone is really interested they can click on the link and get redirected to Barlinek. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 07:32, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
