Authentic Unlimited is an American bluegrass band. 2024 Members are Eli Johnston (banjo), Jerry Cole (bass), Stephen Burwell (fiddle), John Meader (guitar), and Jesse Brock (mandolin).[1]
History
The band was formed in 2022. When veteran bluegrass band leader Doyle Lawson retired, three members of his band Quicksilver, Johnston, Burwell and Cole, got together with Brock and Meader to create the new band Authentic Unlimited.[2]
In 2023, Authentic Unlimited released two albums and performed at the Grand Ole Opry. [3] That year, they were named Vocal Group of the year by the International Bluegrass Music Association.[4]
In 2024, Authentic Unlimited received three awards at the International Bluegrass Music Awards.[5][6]
