- Thanks for the invitation, I will have look later what's about with this :)--Oxymoron83 21:33, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
I would like you be part of our SWTTF Anti-Vandalism Unit specifically. You seem very experienced in vandalsim fighting, and you may be a good choice to head out our Unit.
More Info:

Thanks,
Psdubow 22:38, 30 August 2007 (UTC) :)
- After thinking a while about it, I'm not sure if I'm the appropriate person. I fight vandalism to all topics rather than one I have no special knowledge about. I think a membership couldn't change that much. If you think I'm nevertheless the right person, let me know. --Oxymoron83 21:35, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Well, if you don't want to head out the Unit that's fine. But, if you'd still like to join as a normal member of the Unit, that would be good too. Thanks, Psdubow 15:56, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for reverting vandalism to my talk page. I appreciate it! Cheers Lloydpick —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lloydpick (talk • contribs) 00:08, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

The person using 74.46.211.176 seems to be making small, but inaccurate changes on the Transformers pages at random. Maybe it's a sabotage bot or just a prankster. I don't know how to report them. Can you help? Mathewignash 14:20, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hello Mathewignash, thanks for watching him. Surely that's no bot, only a common vandal. As far as I can judge not all edits are vandalism, but I'm not an expert within this topic. The ip belongs to Frontier Communications of America. As that ip is static this makes it easier to watch him. First he has to be increasingly warned. Warning templates can be found here. If he continues vandalizing after the level 4 warning and is active at that moment you can report to WP:AIV; an appropriate template can be found there. Adding static ip to the reason would be helpful. Additionally you can read Wikipedia:Vandalism if you haven't already done so. Regards --Oxymoron83 22:08, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks #2
for the revert, GDonato (talk) 22:32, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- No problem :) --Oxymoron83 22:35, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I knew it would mess up the sections ;) GDonato (talk) 22:44, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- That doesn't matter. I only want the edit summaries leading to the right place, and also after clicking the save button ;) --Oxymoron83 22:56, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks #3
Cheers for your efforts against 77.99.95.80 at The Big Issue and my user page.
Pagw 19:36, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. As that seems to be a static ip, I suspect he will be back. --Oxymoron83 21:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks #4
Hehe thanks for the revert on my talk page too! Much appreciated. Keep up the great work. Will (aka Wimt) 00:10, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome :)--Oxymoron83 00:14, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Question
Just curious, why did you warn him when I made the revert? [1] Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 00:42, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- I also reverted, got no edit conflict so I warned him. Thanks anyway for the revert :) --Oxymoron83 00:47, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
More Thanks
Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my user page. Dsmdgold 02:34, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Re: Hope you aren't annoyed
Re your message: No, not at all. =) It was a useless comment. I've blocked that account for trolling and vandalism. -- Gogo Dodo 22:47, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Excellent. Thanks :)--Oxymoron83 22:57, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you!
Hey, Thank you for the barnstar, it means a whole lot coming from you as you are one of the editors i see doing the most anti-vandal work. Tiptoety 23:42, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

You should probably look up here whether the Earth symbol is a smiley. If it is so, I strongly suggest you to get a proper unicode font. 131.220.136.195 10:49, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Although on the page above this is another symbol I withdraw as long as you don't remove the explanation again. --Oxymoron83 11:05, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Flash Elorde
"Flash" is just his alias. Why can't the boxer be fronted by his real name? 124.106.203.120 11:02, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've never said that he can't be fronted by his real name. But you aren't allowed to move the content using cut&paste which is required for GFDL reasons amongst others. Instead you should add this article to Wikipedia:Requested moves. --Oxymoron83 22:00, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism
Once again you beat me to the revert my friend ;). Nice job! --Amaraiel 22:24, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- I'm very slow at the moment, twinkle seems to be broken :,-((( --Oxymoron83 22:27, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- Speaking of vandalism, please ensure you revert to a good version.[2] Thanks. Richard001 23:49, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- Or just revert it back yourself - it's a wiki. I see it several times a day that users revert to a prior vandalized version. Due to the unfavourable vandalism/RC patroller ratio here this happens sometimes. Moreover I wont revert an edit I don't understand. --Oxymoron83 02:03, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome on the rvv, and as for Twinkle, have you tried this temp fix until Twinkle is fully fixed again? — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 16:25, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

I am dying
It's true, I've got a mystery illness and I'm eventually going to die. I am in such pain you wouldn't believe. Don't ever take your lives for granted. What I wrote was NOT nonsense. Svengali123 03:56, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry for you, but creating wikipedia articles to promote yourself is against our policy and although you are so ill we can't make an exception. Please read WP:NOT. Get well soon. --Oxymoron83 04:04, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Chevrolet El Camino reversions
Please take a look at the edit history. Some idiot kid went on a vandalism spree and I am trying to undo it by reverting his edits. Thanks. 71.102.80.39 07:07, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Um...you just warned me about the vandalism to the El Camino article. I am not responsible for the vandalism. I have contributed to that article in the past and I would appreciate it if you would kindly strike yourwarnings from my IP talk page. 71.102.80.39 07:09, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think this and this are reverts we need. --Oxymoron83 07:10, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Let's try this again: I am NOT responsible for those edits!!! Look at the other IP, for heaven's sake!!! I was attempting to undo the vandalism one entry at a time and the damned system credited ME with vandalizing the site! 71.102.80.39 07:12, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- So please be more careful when editing wikipedia. And I don't think the system is responsible for your edits. Have a look at the welcome page and use the Sandbox for test edits.--Oxymoron83 07:20, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
I used to edit Wikipedia on a constant basis with more than 20,000 edits and six features to my credit. I quit back in January. I'd thought of returning if only on a limited basis, but to heck with it. The last time I tried doing any "vandal-slaying" on an anonymous basis, this same idiocy happened. If anything, you were misinterpreting my attempts to undo the damage as the original vandalism. If that isn't a flaw in the system, I don't know what is. This site stopped being fun precisely for reasons like this. No need to respond, but take it from someone who's been in the trenches fighting for the sanctity of this site: When a misunderstanding happens, don't compound the problem by (a) insulting someone's intelligence regarding the use of the welcome page and sandbox and (b) take a moment to verify what a user such as myself tells you regarding misunderstood edits. It'll save you a lot of antacid, believe me. 71.102.80.39 07:28, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and for the record, I'm logging on for the first time since January to let you know that I am who I say I am. I hope this will dispel any further suspicions on your part. - Lucky 6.9 07:31, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
