Moved discussion

The discussion here, which should be about the rank of private, was discussion about private (disambig page), incorrectly redirected here. I did a cut-and-paste to Talk:Private. --SigPig 03:02, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Removed statement about pay for US Army Privates. Current salary pay is available from http://www.dod.mil/militarypay/pay/bp/paytables/jan2007_basicpay.html . The removed figure was close to the actual current pay for an E-1, but not an exact match. Privates also recieve allowances for living expenses, which was not mentioned in the statement I removed. Netherlands Section

I have expanded the Netherlands section based on the Dutch equivalent page. Should anyone wish to edit this, feel free, and should someone believe that the notice should now be removed, it is up to them.

PV1 and PV2

Is there actually any (current) source for the use of PV1? This question has led to a bit of an edit war here. --rimshotstalk 14:19, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
