Desperado is a Club band formed by Lee Sparrow & Don Sparrow in 1977, after a Short stint as Good Time Guys, Lee & Don reformed with a New Drummer Rick Parkes and Front man Singer Guitar player Jim Richards. This line up Played successfully for several years in the Northeast Ohio area. The Variety of music ranged fom Warren Zevon to George Jones and more. Following various infighting the band fell apart in the mid 80s.. In 1987 the band reformed with Don & Rick both in Florida and played off and on for several years. Don and Rick were members of other bands in Florida, but Desperado was always in the wings.. When Rick moved from Florida in 2000, Don kept Desperado going with various musician friends from over the years... Finally in 2007, at the minipulation of long time Guitarist Friend Kenny Morgan, Don booked a Club date for Desperado as a Single act with Sequenced Music accompanied by his Live Guitar & Keyboard work.. With only 4 weeks to prepare, Don arranged and sequenced 45 songs to get through a Fri & Sat night gig. Jim Richards from the Original Desperado came out for that first weekend event, along with other Former Desperado musician friends such as Kenny Morgan & Robbie Music. With their encouragement along with the Angler's Reef owners, Virginia & Ivan, Don booked additional dates at their club. Over the past 2 years the song list has grown to 150+ songs, and the stage eguipment has vastly improved to enhance the quality and reliability of the performance
