Games
Hasbro is the largest producer of board games in the world. They own several brands, such as Parker Brothers, Milton Bradley, Wizards of the Coast, and Avalon Hill. Of course, as with all other Hasbro products, each game is also a brand unto itself. In addition to the world's most popular board game Monopoly, Hasbro also produces these well-known and top selling games:
- Axis and Allies
- Battleship
- Candy Land
- Life
- Magic: The Gathering
- Pictionary
- Risk
- Scrabble
- Trivial Pursuit
Hasbro also produces many variations of most of their games. For example, in addition to original Scrabble, the game is also available as Scrabble Deluxe Edition, Scrabble Deluxe Travel Edition and Scrabble Junior. This doesn't include all the special "Anniversary Editions" that Hasbro produces year to year.
Many of Hasbro's games have been around so long that they have entered into the popular culture.
Video Games
Hasbro began a short-lived venture called Hasbro Interactive in the 1990s. Now Hasbro develops video games based on its brands through third-party developers and licensing strategies.
