Lucien Paiement (born c. 1932)[1] was a doctor, municipal politician and owner of racehorses in the Canadian province of Quebec.[2] He served as mayor of Laval from 1973 to 1981. He also operated the Semalu horse stable in Saint-André-d'Argenteuil, Quebec,[2] one of whose horses was Semalu Express.[3]

He was also chairman of the board of the Cité de la santé hospital in Laval, which opened in 1978 while he was mayor.[4]
A street near the Montmorency metro station in Laval is named after him.[5]

Il en va de même pour la rue transversale Lucien-Paiement (maire de Laval de 1973-1981) qui traverse du nord au sud le quadrilatère de la station de métro comprise entre les boulevards de la Concorde et du Souvenir.
