River Road Independent School District is a public school district based in rural north central Potter County, Texas (USA).

The district serves the north central and parts of northeast Potter County, including those portions of Amarillo located north of Loop 335.

Colors: Purple/Gold

Mascot: The Wildcat

Sports: Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Wrestling, Cross Country, Track, Golf, Soccer

Clubs: BPA, NHS, FFA, Chess, DECA, Student Council, Prom Committee, Spanish

Fine Arts: Band, Choir, Theatre, Art

Principal: Andy Nies

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
