editI dispute the 1991-1992 entry for Juniors. I was in UPIS at that time and don't remember anything of the sort happening. Can anyone check this?
I can't find enough sources for the Juniors list. I only have the list since 1978 (the year Ateneo entered the UAAP). Also, I deleted the 2004 Seniors entry due to the recent controversies. La Salle is sure to forfeit that title anyway. Circa 1900 15:08, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
Caution
editBefore you put "FEU" on the 2004 cell, bear in mind that the UAAP Board hasn't decided yet on who will own the 2004 trophy. Unless there is a decision, it is recommended that the status quo be maintained.
Fair use rationale for Image:Uaap logo.gif
editImage:Uaap logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:23, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

I suggest to use the common names of both people and schools. For a while I was figuring out who "Jose Antonio Reyes" was. --Howard the Duck 16:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Recent changes and vandalism
editI have reverted recent acts of vandalism conducted by Ayusin. The acts comprise unexplained edits involving deletions of lists that have been long undisturbed and maintained by community consensus. The edits cannot be said to have been made in good faith due to the lack of explanation and the arbitrary conduct prevailing in the edits. Rmcsamson (talk) 20:23, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- This has been the same user who has been deleting the MVP and ROY lists both here and in the related NCAA article. –Howard the Duck 23:52, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Juniors championships prior to 1978
editAnyone has them? NU won in 1974. –HTD 06:33, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
Inclusion of UP in the sidebar notes
editPlease included only notable championship remarks. It is not necessary to included all schools in the sidebars. UST (having the most number of titles, the only school to win ALL three titles, etc.), FEU (having the most number or men's women's and basketball titles), and whichever school has most number in juniors (since the list is incomplete) MUST be included. Splitting proposal
editThe following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
I propose that sections Most Valuable Players and Rookie of the Year be split into a separate page called List of UAAP basketball awards. The content of the current page seems off-topic and these sections are large enough to make their own page. — McVahl Talk 09:25, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
- Decline. Per WP:SIZERULE, there's only about 800 words of text without the tables. Forking them would gut the page down to essentially nothing, although some seem inconsequential anyway. Wyliepedia @ 07:46, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

– Each of these articles involve multiple actual championships, so it has to be plural. Now since each doesn't refer to an individual championship, it is a common name. Howard the Duck (talk) 21:29, 19 March 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. BilledMammal (talk) 14:45, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose per WP:SINGULAR. This are single things with multiple editions. The article is rightly at Super Bowl and not Super Bowls. Quale (talk) 15:18, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- Every item has at least two separate and distinct championships; the chess ones, for example, have Seniors' and Juniors' championships. There's not just one "UAAP Chess Championship," but two. Howard the Duck (talk) 23:47, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- Support, each article covers are two divisions (junior and senior) and there is not really a proper name of these UAAP tournaments by sport to warrant the caps.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 22:19, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

This list is wrong for 1987-88, 1988-89
editThe quality of this page is really low. 76.21.125.234 (talk) 06:23, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Not just on those years; an IP vandalized the list earlier this year and it wasn't reverted until now. Howard the Duck (talk) 11:46, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
