Welcome!
editHello, Michelmybell, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Wendy C. Ortiz does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Ways to improve The Donut Legion
editHello, Michelmybell,
Thank you for creating The Donut Legion.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Hey there, you may wish to add some of these sources I found to the article: [1] [2] [3] [4]
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Schminnte}}
. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

- Thanks! I updated the page with some of those references, and deleted the "one source" tag.

August 2023
editPlease do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Roxane Gay. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Innisfree987 (talk) 05:46, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
- What commentary did I add? I added information about a news story that was significant enough to be covered in New York Magazine.Michelmybell (talk) 14:48, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
Replaceable non-free use File:Smith Henderson.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Smith Henderson.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:22, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
