This is the talk page for Miniapolis (who is proud to be a Wikipedia editor) and is in fond memory of Corinne, one of WP's very best copyeditors. Although I can be reached by email, I prefer keeping discussions on-wiki as much as possible. Due to time constraints, I no longer accept direct copyedit requests; please list articles requiring copyediting for GAN, FAC and the like on the Guild of Copy Editors request page (and consider pitching in with the GOCE, which can always use more help!) Since I take the occasional wikibreak, feel free to undo any administrative action I've taken as you see fit.

Invitation to participate in a research

edit

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team

Gratitude

Hello, thank you for your hardwork on "Water", you the best. If you have time, please scan Tyla (album) and point out any flaws you can spot. It is also on FAC by the way. Again, thank you so much. dxneo (talk) 20:48, 23 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks; I finished that copyedit. However (as I say at the top of this page), I don't copyedit on demand. It's late in the day since the album article is already at FAC, but it was copyedited in July so hopefully the prose is still okay. Good luck and all the best, Miniapolis 22:00, 23 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Review of copyedited article

edit

Hey Miniapolis. If you have the time, could you please review the article I just copyedited for the November Backlog Elimination Drive. I am unsure if it is up to a satisfactory standard. Article: Welfare in South Korea

I will remove it from my completed articles section and re-add the copyedit tag if required. Thank you! TNM101 (chat) 16:02, 5 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Looks good; that's a tough article. Thanks for your help and all the best, Miniapolis 20:32, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please don't leave a space between * and O when listing your articles; we use a script, which might not give you the extra credit. I removed the spaces from your list. All the best, Miniapolis 20:36, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much for reviewing the article and for removing the spaces. I will keep that in mind. TNM101 (chat) 04:55, 7 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Reminder to participate in Wikipedia research

edit

Hello,

I recently invited you to take a survey about administration on Wikipedia. If you haven’t yet had a chance, there is still time to participate– we’d truly appreciate your feedback. The survey is anonymous and should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement.

Take the survey here.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team
