Japan's balance of entertainment-media trade

edit

To what countries is Japan a net exporter of entertainment media, and from what countries is it a net importer? NeonMerlin 01:29, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is an article on trade of Japan which covers both import and export. The article also suggests a further source of material. Lanfear's Bane

Recent $350 printer commercial with a very annoying man?

edit

A few weeks ago, I saw a commercial where several employees talk to a woman (presumably some kind of manager). They talk about how an employee was so annoying they couldn't stand him, so they all had to pitch in to get him a $350 printer. Unfortunately, I forgot the printer's name. As soon as they opened the annoying employee's office door, we could hear him laugh to the tune of the music he was listening to. The woman said in a deadpan manner, "Strange."

What product was this commercial specifically about and where can I find it on YouTube? --70.133.218.43 07:48, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you go to YouTube and type "strange printer ad" in the search box, the result gives you what you're after. I'm not linking directly as that could be construed as linkspam --Melburnian 08:42, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, found it. It's here. Thanks! --70.133.218.43 21:31, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the tune he is laughing to is "The Laughing Policeman", so it's not so strange. Good ad though. Skittle 16:20, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If the OP hadn't mentioned a tune, I'd merely think "Hey, he laughs kinda like my uncle." —Tamfang 00:56, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't seem to me that providing a link in good faith to youtube qualifies as linkspam. Not to mention that links are set up with rel=nofollow on wikipedia so it's not like you'd be boosting that page's page rank by providing a link anyway. Donald Hosek 17:31, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The tune is indeed The Laughing Policeman DuncanHill 20:02, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
