Leigh’s professional interest is in educational development, focused on open education using popular media for networked learning. This primarily involves using social media and communication for socially constructed learning and informal and formal education.

Leigh currently works with Sport Studies and the Faculty of Health at the University of Canberra.

Sunshine wants Leigh to find a small block of land by a river so he can give up work and go back to being an artist, growing vegies, running goats, and raising a baby - Leigh tends to agree.
