Chill Rob G (born Robert Frazier) is a rapper from Jersey City, New Jersey. He was part of Queen Latifah's New Jersey-based Flavor Unit collective, which also involved Nikki D, DJ Mark the 45 King, and Naughty By Nature, among others. He was signed to Stu Fine's Wild Pitch Records in the late 1980s, and released one album, Ride the Rhythm, on the label. Ride the Rhythm's tracks alternated between a somewhat hardcore sound and an easygoing, conversational tone. It was chosen by The Source as one of the 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums, and has a small but devoted fan base. He later released another album, "Black Gold". on an independent label. In 1996, Chill Rob G's track Bad Dreams was covered by British trip-hop artist Tricky on his album Pre-Millenium Tension.

In 1989, the lyrics and sound of his track "Let the Words Flow" as well as those of his track "The Power" were sampled without permission by the German pop/rap/dance crew Snap for their hit record The Power.
