St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center was the first hospital in Toledo, Ohio and is part of Mercy Health Partners.

Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center (MSVMC), established in 1855, is the critical care regional referral and teaching center within the Mercy Health Partners system, a seven hospital faith-based system serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

St. Vincent is home to five Life Flight air ambulances, holds the highest designation for treating high risk mothers & babies, is a Level I Trauma Center for children & adults and is an accredited Chest Pain Center. St. Vincent maintains a completely modern, attractive and secure campus and also takes a leadership role in providing quality medical education and community development.

SVMMC through a partnership with University of Toledo Medical Center and St Rita's Medical Center operates a 6 helicopter Air-Ambulance and a 5 ground based critical care ambulance entity called LifeFlight/MobileLife With helicopters based in Toledo Oh, Fulton County, Bluffton Oh, Sandusky County, and Milan Oh. And Ground Units Based in Findlay Oh, Fulton County, Toledo Oh, Fremont Oh, and Bowling Green. LifeFlight/MobileLife is NW Ohio's primary means of critical care transports. It is also the primary way that the Lake Erie Islands (Put-in-Bay, Middle Bass, and Kelly's Island) transports their patients to the mainland.

MHP also operated a private ambulance service named LifeStar.
