Welcome
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, Chrislipthorpe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to AIDS denialism does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page AIDS denialism. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 00:21, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article AIDS denialism, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Edit-warring
[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on AIDS denialism. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing.
Please come by the article talk page to discuss the changes you're proposing. They're problematic; among other things, it's nonsense to say that HIV has never been isolated. In any case, these kinds of changes aren't going to be forced into the encyclopedia; the best approach to address your concerns is to discuss them at the article talk page. Blocked
[edit]You have been blocked from editing for 72 hours for abusive use of a sock puppet, User:Highenergypulses. The use of an alternate account to engage in an edit war is unacceptable. Further edit warring or sockpuppetry will lead to a longer or indefinite block. If you believe this decision to be in error, you may post {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page, and another administrator will review the block. You may wish to read our guide to appealing blocks first. Seraphimblade Talk to me 10:08, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
