Final warning --
Blocked indefinitely

I have just seen the UTRS appeal that {{u|Deepfriedokra}} refers to above. In that appeal you claimed that you were blocked for a totally different reason than the actual reason, as explained both in the block message above and in the block log, which you see when you try to edit. * When I wrote the message immediately above I didn't know that you had used yet another [[WP:SOCK|sockpuppet]] account after I posted my advice to you. As far as I'm concerned that's the end of the road. I've blocked this account indefinitely. If you use any more accounts to evade this block, '''any''' editing they do, good bad or indifferent, may be reverted on site. It will also be possible to protect every page you edit, but I hope you won't make that necessary, as it could cause inconvenience for legitimate editors as well as stopping you. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bishonen | tålk 12:44, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You!, but I had wrote right content, but I forgot to add a link to my edits. Thanks a lot. Campycipro (talk) 13:39, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You need to reference a reliable source which clearly states what you asserting. If you want to say that the series has had over a billion views worldwide, then find a reliable source which says so; not a blog nor a fan site nor a selection of random videos, but one which meets WP:RS requirements. Otherwise you're likely to get blocked again. Bazza (talk) 13:50, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Urds

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Urds requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. April 2021

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Ottoman Empire, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Hi, you removed a template to replace it with a common link without giving an explanation, and then replaced it with your own text without attributing it. Please use edit summaries that provide more detail for the basis of this type of change. JesseRafe (talk) 17:55, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Urdu. I also hope you're not editing as 2A02:1810:8490:1400:D4F6:55D2:A39F:246C at the same time, that would also get you blocked. JesseRafe (talk) 15:26, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Raegan Revord requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Raegan_Revord. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Raegan Revord, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

I see above that you've recreated this article previously. The Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Raegan Revord discussion determined that Revord is not notable enough for a stand-alone article. Please stop creating this article in mainspace until her career meets notability guidelines for actors. You can work on a version of the article in Draft:Raegan Revord in the meantime. Schazjmd (talk) 14:57, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
To clarify, there already exists a draft version of the Raegan Revord article. What User:Schazjmd means is, you are welcome to help improving the existing draft. He does not mean the Draft:Raegan Revord page is available for you to post your own version. Once the article meets Wikipedia's notability criteria, it is the existing draft article that will be used as the basis for our Raegan Revord article. Can you please tell me that how I can create an infobox?

Campycipro (talk) 05:53, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The easiest way I know: Look at an article about a similar topic, (for a school, you could look at The Mather School). Then look at the article as wikitext [3], copypaste the infobox "code" from there and use it where you want to with the relevant info. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:21, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

3 people with WP-articles at a Star Trek convention, jackpot!

When you upload something at Commons as "own work", that means you are stating that you took the picture yourself with your own camera. WP and Commons are very strict about copyright, though not always very quick about it. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:25, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So from where can we get images of celebrities, it's sure that you won't go to them to take a picture, it's from celebrity's social media. Campycipro (talk) 10:38, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, that is to some extent how it happens. Before the present world situation, celebs turned up at events like comiccon etc, and fans took pics of them, then uploaded them themselves. The person also has the opportunity to upload a selfie to Commons themself. Or, a buddy of them can take a pic and then the buddy upload it to Commons, Kevin Stephens is an example where that happened. But for living people, you can't pick your favorite from whereever on the net and use that. Those are the basics, more at Wikipedia:Image use policy. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:57, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Campycipro, adding to this, I noticed you added a new image of Turgut. Firstly, it was in a 'thumb' format, which is meant for the body of the article, not the infobox. Second, it had the wrong license, as copyrighted images are not allowed on the Commons. It must instead be uploaded under a claim of 'fair use' per WP:NONFREE. We can discuss using the new image you added, and it may be better since he has the axe, although it really needs to be a fair use file, not on Commons. Thanks. IronManCap (talk) 11:14, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that is a funny aspect of these rules. We can not have WP:NONFREE pics of Engin Altan Düzyatan, because he is, I'm assuming, live and well and theoretically able to be photographed at any time. However, we can have (usually one) a WP:NONFREE image of Ertuğrul Bey (fictional character), beacuse images of that article-topic is by necessity non-free. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:27, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, if a copyrighted image is replaceable with a free image, then it's not allowed, which is why we haven't added an image of Nurettin Sönmez even though we have a nonfree image of him on the Bamsi Beyrek article. That's why fair use images of characters are allowed, as they are not replaceable with free images. See WP:FREER. IronManCap (talk) 11:36, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

While the "Burçin Abdullah [tr] as Hafsa Hatun" in Bamsi Beyrek is less motivated. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:40, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Gråbergs Gråa Sång: True, but I thought since there's a character redirect to that section an image might be worthwhile. I'll see if I can adjust the rationale to justify its inclusion. IronManCap (talk) 11:42, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You may have a point on that. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:44, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict)Note also that pics like [4] are uploaded to Wikipedia, not Commons, Commons only want free stuff. Yes, copyright rules are a pain in the ass, but our sacred oath as Wikipedians means that they must be followed. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:37, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Jhelum River.
This is the 3rd or 4th explicit warning you've been given about doing this. STOP removing language templates, adding bare WLs, and re-writing with your own opinion about transliterations or names or alternatives. Discuss on talk pages and get consensus.

You also seem to have trouble understanding what these warnings mean, or noticing that most of your edits are getting reverted by dozens of different editors in different subject areas: You are not making helpful contributions. Several editors have told you, for instance, to stop putting thumbnails in infoboxes, and yet you keep doing it. It's more work for everyone to fix your mistakes when you don't even try to learn from them. Look at Cat -- look how many times you were told to stop doing what you were doing and you ignored the other editors and the warnings. Or how many times you kept making an article that was not ready, even when a more-ready version already existed in draft.

Please take the time to read the welcome links and how to work collaboratively. I can't assume good faith, and will have to report if you continue to add your own opinions without consensus across WP and don't respond to any previous attempts to get through to you about how these edits are not acceptable. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Baramulla Public School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Are you the owner of Wikipedia? Get lost. Campycipro (talk) 10:45, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Campycipro: JesseRafe was merely informing you that an article you created was nominated for deletion as the topic was potentially not considered notable in line with Wikipedia's guidelines at WP:N and WP:GNG. You should assume good faith and avoid personal attacks please, especially with an editor just doing their job. You are always free to discuss this on the article's talkpage, rather than resort to insults. IronManCap (talk) 21:49, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Message

Once again, please stop adding images of characters on Commons, like you did for Aslıhan. They aren't allowed there as they are copyrighted, so should instead be uploaded directly to Wikipedia as nonfree images, with the sourcing information filled out. Thanks. Nomination of Baramulla Public School for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Baramulla Public School is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Baramulla Public School until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Sungodtemple (talk) 00:42, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Burçin Abdullah has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Your edits

Hi, I'd like to recommend you to take a break from editing and use that time to focus on reading the policies that govern this project. To-date, 90% of your edits were reverted – which signals that your editing was quite poor, against policies and placed significant burden on other editors who had to restore prior versions. It is not to discourage you from editing. It is to make sure your energy is not wasted on edits that will be reverted. Other peoples' energy, too. Thank you. — kashmīrī TALK 11:17, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Creating other accounts

Hi, please note that you are not allowed to create another account at the time when you are blocked from editing. This is considered a violation of your block (sockpuppetry) and normally leads to a permanent block of your account and any other accounts you may create in the future.

If you want to continue editing, you need to wait until the expiry of your block. Feel free to use that time to familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's core policies – links are there at the start of this page. — kashmīrī TALK 09:28, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, but what was the problem with my image, that I had added on Kashmiri Language, instead it had a better (original) Perso-Arabic font. Campycipro (talk) 12:27, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Campycipro, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

kashmīrī TALK 10:36, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have doubled the length of the block on your account because of your attempt to evade the block by using other accounts. You need to rethink your approach to dealing with disagreements with other editors, as otherwise it will be a question of when, rather than whether, you will get blocked indefinitely. If you think another editor is mistaken, explain why in a polite and friendly way, and be prepared to discuss the matter with a view to trying to reach agreement. Also bear in mind that none of us always gets what we want, and you need to accept that sometimes you won't. If you persist in trying to force your preferred version through, by edit-warring, using multiple accounts, angrily attacking editors you disagree with, or by any other means, you will be seen as obstructive, and you will be blocked to prevent you from wasting other editors' time. I hope you will think carefully about what I've said, because if you do then there's a good chance will be able to do useful editing for a long time to come, without being blocked again. I've blocked this account indefinitely. If you use any more accounts to evade this block, any editing they do, good bad or indifferent, may be reverted on site. It will also be possible to protect every page you edit, but I hope you won't make that necessary, as it could cause inconvenience for legitimate editors as well as stopping you.
