The 2024 Kentucky Senate election will be held on November 5, 2024. The Republican and Democratic primary elections will be held on May 21. Following the 2022 election, Republicans and Democrats held 31 and 7 seats, respectively.[1] The deadline for candidates to file is January 5, 2024.

As of January 2025, a total of three senators (one Democrat and two Republicans) have announced their retirement, none of whom are retiring to run for other offices.
