Allenbya collinsonae was a species of plant, which occurred in the middle Eocene period of Canada.[1]
Description
Generative characteristics
The follicle-like fruit was 2.5 cm long. The operculate, anatropous, ovoid to subglobose seeds with two integuments are 6.0-7.0 mm long, and 3.0-3.5 mm wide.[1]

It was published by Sergio Rafael Silvestre Cevallos Ferriz and Ruth A. Stockey in 1989.[1]
Type specimen
The type specimen was found in the Allenby Formation of Princeton, British Columbia, Canada.[1]
Position within Nymphaeales
It is placed in the family Nymphaeaceae.[1][2]
Etymology
The generic name Allenbya refers to Allenby, British Columbia, Canada.[3] The specific epithet collinsonae honours Margaret E. Collinson.[4]
