Amin Yousefi (Persian: امین یوسفی) born 1996 is an Iranian image-based artist and writer living in London. He has won the Foam Talent Awards in 2024 and Ag Talent in 2019.[1][2]
Life and work
Yousefi was born and raised in Abadan, Iran. He completed his undergraduate studies in photography at the Art University of Isfahan before furthering his education with a focus on documentary photography at the University of Westminster in London in 2022.[3] In 2023, Yousefi received the Foam Talent Award for his project, "Eyes Dazzle As They Search for The Truth," showcased at the Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam.[4] Yousefi's work has been showcased in respected magazines like Hapax and Aperture.[5] Notably, he wrote an article discussing the experiences of young Iranian artists in photography, published in one of these magazines.[6][7][8]
