IP sock, so needs to be behavior based. Started after prior sock was blocked. Suspected sockpuppets

Same as last year, a new user came to wikipedia and immediately started creating non-notable articles related to Symon Sadik. Usually new user straggle how to create articles or with wiki formatting but it looks like "user:TelenganaFilmyNgr" has good knowledge about those. They also uploaded lots of copyright files on commons all related to Symon Sadik. Looks like their only interest is promoting Symon Sadik and his work behaviour matches with User:Lying fla).   • @GeneralNotability: I forgot to link the earlier SPI of just TFN and HLR. I'm not aware of Symon Sadik and thus can't comment on that link. My comments from the other SPI: "TFN uploaded copyvio images on commons and all of them were deleted. The last copyvio report was at ~4AM 26 August '21 and the file was deleted at ~11. The HLR account was created ~10 and uploaded an image in the evening and another the next day. TFN added the HLR uploaded images here, and on BN wiki.   • Comment [1] shows TFN recreating a film article that was originally created by blocked sock Lying Flat and deleted at AFD. The article was for a film with Sadik. There's pretty obvious COI editing happening at a minimum but I really think this is WP:UPE, possibly a couple of people working together.   • Sorry for late reply. As far i remember, their (user:Lying fla & user:TelenganaFilmyNgr) behaviour are very similar. They created same article and their only interest was/is Symon Sadik. TFN uploaded copyvio images on commons and all of them were deleted. The last copyvio report was at ~4AM 26 August '21 and the file was deleted at ~11. The HLR account was created ~10 and uploaded an image in the evening and another the next day. TFN added the HLR uploaded images here, and on BN wiki.   • HLR is definitely a sock of TFN. The same area of interest, the same editing style, the same use of "it's correct ____" in edit summaries, and, most glaringly, nearly identical userpages containing the same surname, date of birth, and primary school. I suppose it's possible we have a pair of twins on our hands with very similar interests and personalities, but, if so, they can explain that in an unblock request.
    No diffs have been provided to show that these are the same user as User:Symon Sadik. Given the shared focus on Symon Sadik, this is likely the case, but I also notice some differences between these and the four accounts in the archive. Since it doesn't really matter whether they are sox of Sadik or not, as they're in violation of SOCK either way for evading scrutiny after warnings, Pink clock Awaiting administrative action to block these accounts:

User:Robertjocos is a single-purpose account for re-creating articles on films in which Symon Sadik appeared:

[4], [5], [6], undoes Bbb23's revert [7], recreates Live: The Ugly Truth at Live (2022 film) and uploads poster images for it, creates Ador Azad then links it to Live (2022 film). Updates link from Live: The Ugly Truth (Upcoming Film) to Live (2022 film) in Shamim Ahamed Roni, again undoing last revert by Bbb23. All with very similar writing style to Gamerr222. I am suspecting that this user is a sock of Symon Sadik/user:Robertjocos. So far the user created 6 article and they all (a part from one) related to Symon Sadik. On bnwiki, they did same. The user is a new editor but behavior doesn't suggest that, usually new user struggle when they create their first articles. Like prior socks, there's a very strong interest in Symon Sadik. They've uploaded on commons an image with the same name used by a prior sock [8]. The overlap with only the last very active sock [9] is pretty significant. They've also recreated Shapla Media, which was originally created by a sock before moving to draft space [10]. @Girth Summit, would you mind looking at Syed Sohel as a possible G5? The edits from other users are mainly to remove poor sources, unsourced and other junk, there has been minimal improvement from others.   • There isn't much CU data left on the old accounts, but from the CU logs I see ZackSpeaks editing from an IP that AshpanBhai has used. That wouldn't be enough on its own, but a couple of other factors (WP:BEANS), and the editing behaviour, leave me with no doubt. Blocking, tagging, will request lock and consider some G5s. Well, I've now spent a substantial bit of today's AGF ration trying to get IAmArjun23 to understand WP:V, to respond to COI/PAID questions, and to read some guidelines. User talk:IAmArjun23 is a bit discouraging. There is a massive WP:CIR issue there, and I have absolutely no doubt that it's a sock of Symon Sadik – there are some tells in the communication style which I'd rather not describe for BEANS reasons. --bonadea contributions talk 18:54, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The account was registered on 4 January, the day after the most recent socks in the archives were blocked. The smoking gun is Robojaas' creation of Syed Sohel, but there are plenty of other flags in the shape of overlaps in the articles edited. Looking at the four most recently blocked socks, here are some examples:

Similar interest in articles relating to Bengali and Telugu cinema. The username gives it away: Bangla means Bengali and Mirchi is a Telugu chili. Both AshpanBhai (another sock) and BanglaMirchi edited Ali Reza (actor) and Syed Sohel. AshpanBhai created Syed Sohel and BanglaMirchi recreated it as a redirect. AshpanBhai created Gayakudu for Ali Reza and various articles for Syed Sohel including an older revision of Lucky Lakshman while BanglaMirchi created Metro Kathalu for Ali Reza and Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu for Syed Sohel (originally created by Ashpan Bhai). User:AshpanBhai edited Ali Reza so did BanglaMirchi. Ashpan Bhai edited Bonny Sengupta and so did BanglaMirchi. DareshMohan (talk) 15:18, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The last three socks Shahenul2, Fordi9997 and Illiiyyiin were blocked by @Spicy on 16 January. RM30 SilentKillerFan resumed editing from the same date and has made 330 edits as of now. RM30 SilentKillerFan recreated Draft:Syed Sohel for Syed Sohel and requested me to accept it. Their editing pattern is same as the previous socks. They seem to be interested in the same articles related to Syed Sohel and his films as the previous socks. They are using the same edit summary as the previous sock Kire Abunirput. Suspected sockpuppets

This could be related to both the {https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Jha09/Archive Jha09] or Symon Sadik sockfarms (or both).

  • User:BanglaFilmInfoo creates account on February 4, 2024, the same day user:Dua Qureshi DQ is blocked as a sock of Jha09.
  • BanglaFilmInfoo edits Ramsha Khan where edits of Dua Qureshi DQ were just rolled back.
  • BanglaFilmInfoo edits Mamnun Hasan Emon where edits of user:RM30 SilentKillerFan (sock of Symon Sadik blocked on February 2, 2024) were just rolled back. Note this was also heavily edited by Paradoxical SS who was blocked as a sock of Symon Sadik back in November 2023.
  • BanglaFilmInfoo edits Pori Moni where edits of user:RM30 SilentKillerFan were also just reverted. CNMall41 (talk) 05:50, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

IP sock, so needs to be behavior based. Started after prior sock was blocked. Similar edits [60] vs [61] and [62] vs [63]. Also two odd edits creating talk pages [64] [65], both of which the previous sock had edited the article before being blocked.
