Definitive postage stamps of India are the regular series of definitive postage stamps issued by the Department of India Post between 1949 and 2015-16. Definitive postage stamps of India

Definitive postage stamps of India are the regular series of definitive postage stamps issued by the Department of India Post between 1949 and 2015-16. Eleven distinctly different series of designs have been released; additionally the watermark was changed for 3rd Series and Two special Definitive Series (1974-1983) and 2009 were released.
