No other composer is more often the subject of film productions than Mozart, especially when emotional moments are to be musically emphasised. The Adagio from the Clarinet Concerto K. 622 plays a prominent role here. Here are three examples:

1. in the film Out of Africa (1985), the melody is always heard when the relationship between the narrator and her lover is discussed and thus permeates the entire film.

2. the comedy film Green Card (1990) refers to "Out of Africa" by playing the clarinet concerto whenever Africa is mentioned
