Cecília Gáspár (11 September 1984 - 9 September 2024[1]) is a Hungarian former football footballer, who played for and captained the women's national football team.
Life and education
Gáspár started playing sports at the age of six.[2] She attended the University of Würzburg in Germany.[3]
Gáspár has been nicknamed "Cili".[4]
Career
Gáspár captained the Hungary women's national football team.[5]
She has been described as a "playmaker... able to internalize tactical moves... she can also skillfully dribble the ball past her teammates with her foot".[6]
