The Basketball awards highlights tier list is meant to curtail excessively long highlights lists in player infoboxes. While the highlights list is not troublesome in desktops, it can create viewing problems in mobile phones. The idea is that if the combined highlights of a player exceed certain number (for instance 20 highlights), the lowest used highlights tier is removed until it is around the cap number (+/- a few highlights).
