Early years

As part of his sports school team, he participated in the Ukrainian Youth Football League. In 2016, he received an invitation to the youth team of FC Shakhtar Donetsk, but during the training camp, he suffered a knee injury, after which he returned to Cherkasy. After recovering from the injury, he moved to the capital's Obolon for a year but later returned to play in the youth team of Dnipro-80. In 2022, after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he moved to ŠK Slovan Bratislava as a 16-year-old young talent.[2].
