Can you imagine a Beatles song where the entry read "Essentially, it's a Lennon/McCartney recording more than a true band's work." a stupid way of phrasing this, and completely missing the point of the sex pistols which was that 'anyone can be a sex pistol'. the fact rotten had left the sex pistols didnt make silly thing any less of a band work. the sex pistols was never a band to begin with, they were a construct created by malcolm mclaren
