This article discusses problematic social media use. It examines the negative impact of social media on mental health, especially for women. The article also examines social media's addictive nature and its ability to create feelings of unworthiness and poor self-esteem. The article covers eating problems and excessive social media use. The article also discusses the normalization of cosmetic surgery on social media and how it creates unattainable beauty standards. This article can be improved in a few different ways. It could benefit from a greater understanding of the psychological impacts of excessive social media usage, along with understanding on how platforms are built to be addictive. Also, the article can be more inclusive on its focus beyond eating disorders and women's concerns to include different points of view from all genders, age groups, and cultures as well. This article mainly highlights the negative aspects of social media but, it should also highlight some potential benefits of social media and solutions for responsible use. Finally, adding more citations, images, and a more organized structure could improve this article as well.

However, the article focuses heavily on one side of the narrative. While it clearly outlines risks and effects. It ignores the possible benefits and advantages of appropriate social media use. To improve, the article should further look into the mechanics of social media sites, and examine how algorithms and other aspects such as endless scroll and notifications might lead to problematic use. By using these improvements, the article becomes a more valuable resource for a wider audience. In addition, improving the article's structure and readability is important.
