Gordon St.Angelo (born June 20, 1927 in Huntingburg, IN) is former Democrat State Chairman of the state of Indiana and prominent politician spanning the decades of the 50's, 60's, and 70's. He has worked on two presidential campaigns including holding the position of National Co-Chairman of Humphrey for President Committee. Among the issues he helped support as the Vice-President of Community Development for the Lilly Endowment from 1974 to 1996 was development of free market economics in North and South America as well as other public policy and community development interests. In 1996, St.Angelo helped create a foundation with Nobel Laureate Dr. Milton Friedman and his wife, Dr. Rose D. Friedman to promote and help establish educational choice in America. With Gordon St.Angelo as its CEO, the aptly named Milton and Rose D. Friedman Foundation has since become among the nation's loudest voices on the subject of choice in education.
