If (Mindless Self Indulgence album)

IF is the newest studio album by New York punk group Mindless Self Indulgence. It will be released on The End Records and sold only at Hot Topic's.

Not much is known about this album yet, only that it will be expected to be released April 29th. Mindless Self Indulgence will be doing a small North American tour in support of this album with The Birthday Massacre.

On January 28th, a clip of the song "Mastermind (Shh I Am Whispering Remix)" was released via stream on the band's MySpace page.

On January 16th, a demo of the shitty song "Due" was released exclusively through the Soundwave Tour website.

In a recent interview, Little Jimmy Urine has said that "The fact is that we don't really care about making GOOD music anymore, because we realized that our fan base will basically buy ANYTHING with our name on it, I mean did you even hear Another Mindless Rip Off, haha."

On February 12th, 2008 a digital-only single of the fan favorite "Mastermind(Shh I Am Whispering Remix)" will be available worldwide. The single will be a first peek into terribly mixed studio material from the new record and contains artwork by Jhonen Vasquez.

M dot Strange, (director of We Are the Strange), is set to direct the video for "Animal".

Mike Diva, (winner of the youtube Straight to Video response contest), is set to direct the video for "Mark David Chapman".

Jhonen Vasquez, creator of Invader ZIM, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, and Squee! is expected to do the album art.

Chantal Claret, lead vocalist for band Morningwood and wife of MSI frontman Little Jimmy Urine, will be providing guest vocals on the track 'Never Wanted To Dance'.
