Orphaned non-free media (Image:WPS logo with script.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:WPS logo with script.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. on my edit

why the hell do you keep moaning about my van nistelrooy edit it is true and it has been proven by alot of tv pundits and football commentators i mean van nistelrooy did dive in the box and was given penalties that never should have stood and that is fact it has been proven it is not my personal view it is just a fact that i have brought to attention and you will not stop me getting this information across.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulwelbeck (talkcontribs) 14:10, July 11, 2008

van nistelrooy

I have now given factual information on van nistelroooy diving antics if you remove these quotes i will indeed report you to wikipedia for removing factual information —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulwelbeck (talkcontribs) 15:46, July 11, 2008

Hoodie article

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Hoodie, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Lemons&Limes (talk) 20:14, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, there is no "stray" reference to boys its a fact. As with the main link at the top of the page. If you look at the article with reference to that school; it is not part of the girls school uniform but is part of the boys'. Anyway I as many other have stated have rarely if, seen a female wear one. --Lemons&Limes (talk) 20:16, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Playing style

hey mosmof, the section of 'playing style' i wrote for Kaka is 90% not of my personal anaylsis. I see other players like Henry having a section of his style of play and why can't we have one for Kaka?! A writer has written a part for Kaka before so why so strict with this? I'm not insulting my favourite idol or anything. I just see that if other players do have a section on their style of play, why not Kaka who IS CONSIDERED the best player of 2007. unless you don't know anything about football then for once, you should know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zidanekaka (talkcontribs) 07:59, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Im leaving wikipedia

Check user for Emetman, 207.237.137,37, 64.52.47.210

In addition to the comments I left on the Ronn Torossian talk page regarding Emetman and 207.237.137.37 likely being Torossian himself, please note that the third user has the exact same IP address as the exposed 5W sockpuppeteer on Failed Messiah (check out the original posts regarding 5W's impersonation on that blog for the full evidence). It may well be the same as User: Judae1, based on JTA's trace of an e-mail he sent them. It was my edit of 5W Public Relations that seemed to spark all of the back-and forth attempts to delete and restore the material regarding 5W's actions in the Jewish blogosphere. Thanks for checking on this, and I am satisfied with your reworking and updating of my contribution on the 5W page. I will correct one spelling error - the blogger's last name should be "Rosenberg". 76.230.156.206 (talk) 09:41, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Moshiach: Stop hating on 5W without reason. Should you bias this firm again, expect to be banned from wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.237.137.37 (talk) 03:55, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Jesus" nickname for Ray Allen

I think you missed my point re: Ray Allen's nickname. I'm not questioning it's a fact, nor did i ever say it's not a fact - my edit summary said "unsourced, nn nickname". Which is to say, it's not sourced, it's not a particularly notable nickname (or I don't see any reliable source suggesting it is), and even if it's a notable nickname, I can't imagine why it would belong in the first paragraph. --Mosmof (talk) 23:49, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Would you like to try responding to messages and discussing things before reverting edits w/o citing policies or guidelines? --Mosmof (talk) 14:29, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, it is included in the List of basketball nicknames. Secondly, not I am responsible for deleting all the unsourced info, but you, because I didn't remove the nickname, and you try to make it look "tidy". Also, don't remove information from Kevin Garnett without a reason. The part which you said was unsorced, has actually two sources. ● 8~Hype @ 15:27, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, you ain't going to be able to do anything now about Ray Allen, as I have added a source. And now, please remove all the unsorced nicknames on other player's pages, such as Ben Wallace, a page you edited, but mysteriously didn't remove two unsorced nicknames on. ● 8~Hype @ 15:35, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't delete sorced content from Kevin Garnett, as it is borderline vandalism. Thank you for your understanding. ● 8~Hype @ 19:30, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please don't leave disingenuous edit summaries like you did in the Garnett article. You know why it was removed - you just disagree with the reasoning. --Mosmof (talk) 19:30, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It is an unbounded cheek to allege that I know the reason for the removal of content. ● 8~Hype @ 19:34, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And passive aggressiveness is borderline unWP:CIVIL. Please cite me a policy that says removing "sorced" content is vandalism. Removing sourced content without good reason is vandalism, sure, but removing sourced content in good faith and with good reason certainly is not. --Mosmof (talk) 19:34, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You have yet to state clearly (exluding edit summaries) why the content was removed. Adding content in good faith, which I do, is also not considered vandalism. Also, please don't leave abusive edit summaries like you did in Ray Allen. And please prove my "passive aggressiveness". ● 8~Hype @ 19:40, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Would you please stop being obtuse? In my initial edit, my edit summary read "m nn material from 1st par." I thought that would be clear, but if it wasn't, you were more than welcome to ask me - I'm obviously willing to explain and discuss my edits. And I'e tried to explain in Talk:Ray Allen how most nicknames are not notable or important enough for inclusion in first paragraph, and we've discussed this in Template talk:Infobox NBA Player in the past, so you claiming ignorance is surprising to say the least. Also, FYI, you have made your 3rd revert on Kevin Garnett, --Mosmof (talk) 19:48, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Would you understand an edit summary written like this: "g for 1st ff without tcp"? No. I didn't understand your reasoning, and you can't blindly assume that I understand it and have it in mind while reverting your edits. ● 8~Hype @ 20:01, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shearer pic

Hey, what with the image now being "fair use", do we need to include some commentary on the image within the section? I don't really have that much knowledge of Fair Use policy, so I may be mistaken... - Toon05 16:18, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Brett Favre Jets

In wikimedia commons there is a picture of Brett Favre on Madden in a Jets uniform. Am I allowed to use it on his page, as his picture? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rockyobody (talkcontribs) 22:46, August 13, 2008

Why are the pictures on Brett Favre's wiki fair-use. Am I missing something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rockyobody (talkcontribs) 18:05, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

question about deleted image

Greetings. On Wikipedia:Images_and_media_for_deletion/2008_August_15#Image:KABCDisneylandDeath.jpg, your stance was that the news screenshot image should be deleted (no argument here, I'm not asking for reinstatement). My question is what types of images could qualify for inclusion in the various Incidents articles such as Incidents at Disney parks? I know that there are various news-posted images of Fabio getting hit in the head by a goose while riding a coaster (which would certainly show the physical aftermath of that specific incident), but I'm assuming an image such as that would not be allowed to be included in WP due to copyright or other limitations. And since the Incidents topics don't have images of the incidents themselves, but rather the aftermath (it is a news-related topic, after all), it's rather difficult to find appropriate images to help bring the articles up to GA quality level, so I'm at a loss to determine what can be added. Thanks for your input in advance. SpikeJones (talk) 04:24, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, you have neither confirmed nor denied anything I already thought. In other words, probably no images will be available for use in those articles. At least they're (almost entirely) well-cited articles. SpikeJones (talk) 12:48, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know that if an image is tagged with a license without proof (OTRS etc.) that it is released under that license, you can tag it as {{subst:npd|source=source quoted by the uploader}}. This is faster than PUI. Stifle (talk) 16:06, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I had no idea. --Mosmof (talk) 16:18, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A thousand thanks

Hi there MOSMOF, VASCO from PORTUGAL here,

I just want to say the following, regarding the José Luis Martí (Spanish footballer) wikipage: No need to apologize man, that was a five-star interference, jump in at any time.

I will also tip user http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Satori_Son informing him of the "project"'s completion.

From PORTUGAL, have a nice weekend,

5W Public Relations

Ugh...how have you dealt with this article for so long?! Thanks for reverting the last edit by Emetman. I'm prepping a 3RR report right now. Pinkadelica (talk) 02:13, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
