Subhro Bandyopadhyay (pen name of Subhransu Banerjee) is a Bengali poet and translator and founder editor of poetry magazine Podyocharcha (founded in 1999).

He was born in Kolkata in 1978. He is the recipient of first ever Beca Antonio Machado for poetry<ref>http://www.antoniomachado.info/beca.htm</ref>. He has 3 volumes of poetry to his credit, and a book of essay. His poems had been translated into English and Spanish. He himself had translated various Spanish language authors to Bengali and English <ref>http://www.kaurab.com/english/</ref>
He is a poet of alternative schooling of Bengali literature which always had tried to experiment with the literature denying the decade long influence of various literary establishments.
