Welcome!

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Oxana879! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

re: Your Message

Hi Oxana, I've left a response to your message on my talk page -- Marek.69 talk 21:50, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Barbados–France relations, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Barbados–France relations. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Ironholds (talk) 22:17, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A (hopefully) friendly note that you're entiteld to express your views in a deletion debate, or even to question the need for the debate at all, but this was totally unnecessary and should be retracted. Whenever possible, comments should be about contributions and not contributors - it doesn't help your argument in favour of this article and at best reduces the likelihood of collaboration on future pages.
This isn't an opinion on the AfD itself - I assume you support keeping the article so please feel free to go to the AfD and make sure your views are heard. But please be careful about comments like this directed at other editors. Euryalus (talk) 02:14, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2009

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Ironholds. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The message you left on this user's talk page was unacceptable. Please read over the policies and guidelines at WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA so as to understand the type of behavior we expect of editors here. This is to notify you that you have been mentioned in a Wikiquette alert. Vicenarian (T · C) 14:36, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments here are not appropriate. Here on Wikipedia we expect users to be civil and avoid making personal comments. The fact that I used the word "shit" as an exclamation does not justify your unprovoked attacks against other users who were trying to help you. Ironholds (talk) 14:55, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
