block of Online-education

Why was Online-education (talk · contribs) blocked? As a sock? I've come here from WP:ANI#Heads up where someone has noticed a lot of new accounts being created yesterday and mentioned that one, this one, had already been blocked. Regarding the first two accounts, they are declaring their possible conflict of interest and that is perfectly fine. Editing with a conflict of interest is discouraged, but against policy. And if they are careful, it can be done. There is nothing wrong with these two accounts. The third account's user page was deleted by Jimfbleak after you tagged it. The fourth and fifth accounts are somebody writing about themselves. Happens all the time and is somewhat tolerated on user pages depending upon how blatant of an advertisement it is. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:31, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Probably because they don't know they can create one. It seems to be getting better with all of the new editor retention stuff going on, but this place can still be confusing. At the time of deletion, the article contained only his name, birthdate, birth location, occupation, and a link to his website. Therefore, it was deleted because there was no meaningful content and it did not establish why his is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. The deletion does not mean that he is not notable, just that the article did not say why. It could be that he is. New thoughts about the Happy Chemicals mammalian biology article - would like to please rework for resubmission

Hi, I wrote the page on the current concept used by science authors to explain the biological basis for mood and motivation in mammals. (Happy Chemicals.) Several current authors discuss this or similar concepts and as my page got deleted fairly quickly, I'd love to learn how to rewrite it per Wikipedia guidelines. Please advise, thanks!

Proposed article material

The happy-chemical model simplifies the workings of the mammalian brain in a way that's immediately useful. Critical issues of our times revolve around these neurochemicals, but people don't understand how they're related to each other. The happy chemical model makes it instantly clear that the mammalian brain relies on these chemicals as "go-toward" signals (in contrast to unhappy chemicals, the mammal brain's "pull-back" signal). Here are some examples of notable issues that benefit from the umbrella term "happy chemicals." -Dopamine is central to addiction; serotonin is central to depression; endorphin is central to exercise; oxytocin is central to bonding. Progress on these issues is added by the awareness of the evolutionary origins of these neurochemicals. The happy-chemical model illuminates the fact that these brain chemicals have a common survival purpose- they did not evolve for "happiness" as philosophically understood. -Post-traumatic stress is another important topic. Stress is unhappy chemicals. The term might sound colloquial, but stress instantly makes sense when you know that the mammal brain has two gears: go toward (happy chemicals) or pull away (unhappy chemicals). This model advances insight into human motivation, health, and social interaction. -The emotional experience of animals is of current interest. Animals have the same neurochemicals as humans and indeed animal research allows us to understand their functino in humans.

Accident

My apologies, it was a mistake. I basically don't understand the recent changes to Wikipedia. I was just going to change "She faces Petra Kvitova in the semi-finals." to "She defeated Petra Kvitova in the semi-finals, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4", but the text didn't come up. I was just trying to figure out how the hell it works and ended up deleting 2012. I have no idea why. Removed external links

Hello Gogo Dodo,

I have noticed you removed all of the external links I made to those manufacturers we are authorized for as a dealer. Many of those manufacturer pages on wiki don't have pictures for sample products, their unique products. I wanted to post those pictures up on wiki but I can't contribute those pictures without having atleast 10 contributions. I thought adding links to the articles will somewhat give your readers a way to find those products should they want to buy or just to see how it look like.

I didn't mean to spam your site, just want to get enough contributions so I can add photo of great products those perspective manufacturers has produced.
