I dont say anything about actions, that is up to you but it seems as if they might be same editor and that it is block evasion. This is why I kept reverting even if I am close to edit warring (sorry). Felt like someone editing under new account should be avoided and if I stopped he/she would get their will through. <span style="font-family:Verdana"><font color="blue">QED</font><font color="red">237</font> <font color="green">(talk)</font></span> 22:18, 30 April 2014 (UTC) |

Good, GiantSnowman, good! You've displayed complete disregard for WP:TPG (which means I would not mind if you removed this post) and an unwillingness to de-escalate the situation, dozens of hours after my last edit at Gan River (Jiangxi); a sane person, given the time frame among others, would stay away from ANI drama and continue discussing the content itself, not come running to Papa. You've also overlooked the fact my only two edits were not performed using semi-automated tools of any kind. Good question. Take a look at the talk page. I've been trying to get this corrected, and it has been debated to death. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 18:30, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
- Take a look at the DYK nomination page. I tried to get this fixed, and nobody listened. Not one source except wikipedia has ever used "Albert". It wasn't on his birth certificate. It isn't on his book. It isn't in any of the 30+ sources in the article. The American National Biography went out of its way to mention that Wikipedia got it wrong. He is either Bert Levy or "Yank" Levy" or "Yank" Bert Levy (which is what he used on his book. Do take a look at the Life Magazine article. Most of the sources use "Yank" Levy. If you don't want to bother reading the article, just look at the title. on the references. I made it clear how I felt about the name change, but you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. Not to mention the TIME magazine article. Put text from Time Magazine article on reviewers page. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 18:43, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
There seems to be a consensus. Talk:Albert Levy (soldier) Could you close this out and move it? Thanks. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 11:21, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
Move
If you have a chance before this request is done could you move Bullets Over Broadway The Musical to Bullets Over Broadway (musical) over the redirect. Thanks.Blethering Scot 16:12, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
Jim Lister
Hi,
I noticed you had created a page for Jim Lister of Brechin City and Dumbarton. Just to let you know, the Jim lister on the page you've created is the same Jim Lister that is on soccerbase as James Lister (although the dates they have for his time at Berwick and Alloa are wrong) and is currently still playing for Airdrieonians. I haven't edited the page myself to reflect this as I'm still trying to find references for his moves between clubs and his time in the junior leagues. A Well Fan (talk) 21:31, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- Seems to have two soccerbase pages.[1]Blethering Scot 21:41, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- @A Well Fan: @Blethering Scot: thanks to you both for the heads up, I'll try and have a look for more/better sources tonight when I have time, and correct his career, unless you beat me to it...! GiantSnowman 11:40, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
Possible block evasion
Hi, I have seen what might be possible block evasion/sock so I thought I would bring it to someone with a better knowledge of these kind of things.
It is regarding
Here is my reasoning. When Sinevik was block for repeatedly removing content and blanking without any explanation (about 4 final warnings before block) an other editor came along on the same type of articles (and many articles are exactly the same), doing the exact same thing. I noticed that Golour was the first editor and he/she took a brake after 4 March 2014 and then Sinevik made his first edit at 6 March 2014 (two days later). Then Sinevik continued until the block at midnight 28/29 April 2014 at which Golour woke up and made his first edit since his brake in march just 17 hours later (same contribution diff as above). A quick look at Juan Iturbe revision history or Alex Telles history tells they make the same edits, and looking at their contributions they edit same kind of articles.
I dont say anything about actions, that is up to you but it seems as if they might be same editor and that it is block evasion. This is why I kept reverting even if I am close to edit warring (sorry). Felt like someone editing under new account should be avoided and if I stopped he/she would get their will through.
