Speedy deletion nomination of Parent's Press
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Parent's Press requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. 🖉← 22:34, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

- Hi Wikigirl97, I wonder if you would be willing to expand that article a bit, so that it has substantially more info than was already available at National Register of Historic Places listings in San Francisco (else why create the article?). For almost all California NRHP-listed places including this one, NRHP nomination documents (2 PDFs for text and photos) are available online. In fact you could get to them by clicking on the NRHP reference number in the infobox of the article you created, and also available in the list-article. I then customize the following blank reference:

- Could you possibly please improve that article, even if only by copy-pasting this reference over? I'd be happy to chat further. It looks like quite an interesting building, actually. :) sincerely, --doncram 15:10, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
- I'm not sure how to copy paste this reference over, I agree that it is a very interesting building, why create it? so that it can grow into a more complex article over time, if you have more references available please point them out to me and I can write more.Wikigirl97 (talk) 20:57, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
- Have you clicked on the links above and gone to see the NRHP text document and the photos? They certainly are useful to include in the article.
- Since you ask how to copy-paste, I wonder if you are using the visual editor, while I use the old-fashioned "Edit source" editor, available as one of the tabs above every page, at least in my browser (Chrome) and usual default user settings for a Wikipedia editor. Arrange two windows, one with this page and one with the article opened by "edit source". Highlight the following text:

- and hit "control-C" to copy it. Move cursor into the edit window, hit "control-V" to paste it. Then save the edited page. It will display as a proper inline-citation footnote. Please try it, and you will see! Does this work? It is really important, if you are creating articles about NRHP-listed places, for you to be able to include NRHP nomination documents as sources. If I am not explaining it in terms which work for you, I wonder if you could ask for help at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, or maybe some other editor watching here can explain better? Hope this helps. --doncram 18:36, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, maybe you are not familiar with references that use the cite web or similar templates. Please see this edit by me at the article just now, in which I converted a simple URL-only reference which you had put into the article, into an expanded reference showing article title, author, date, etc. Also try looking at that in edit-mode, and see what the base code is like, vs. what appears in regular viewing mode for readers. --doncram 18:47, 30 August 2017 (UTC)

A page you started (Temporary Transbay Terminal) has been reviewed!
Thanks for creating Temporary Transbay Terminal, Wikigirl97!
Wikipedia editor Animalparty just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Please use the most specific stub tag(s) available, e.g. use SanFrancisco-struct-stub instead of stub.
To reply, leave a comment on Animalparty's talk page.

--Animalparty! (talk) 20:28, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
- This is actually a good idea. SanFrancisco-struct-stub seems to be the only stub tag you need to know. The way you're editing, you don't need to memorize the entire list of stub types to not backlog Category:Stubs. -- I dream of horses If you reply here, please ping me by adding I dream of horses to your message (talk to me) (My edits) @ 04:12, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Crystallizedcarbon. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Jesse Arreguin— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Your contributed article, Kaiser San Francisco
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Kaiser San Francisco. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Kaiser Permanente. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Kaiser Permanente. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Power~enwiki (talk) 22:11, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
- As noted on the talk page, I've withdrawn the CSD; I do still feel the article has issues, though not the type remedied by content deletion. Power~enwiki (talk) 22:49, 3 September 2017 (UTC)

Hi there. Regarding this comment, I'm going to presume good faith in your use of the word "jewish," but you should be very careful in these situations. You're discussing an article about a neo-Nazi and describing content you don't like as "jewish." That could easily be interpreted by admins as blockable conduct. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 06:19, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. MarkBernstein (talk) 14:50, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- In the thread above, and at the ANI thread, a few people are being too kind, by wondering if this was a mistake of some kind. But it is literally impossible to type "jewish gotcha bs" by accident, when you meant to type "gotcha bs" or "liberal gotcha bs" or "libtard gotcha bs" or whatever you were thinking of claiming you meant to type. I am blocking this account indefinitely, to prevent future bigoted comments and POV pushing, which we do not allow here. If you choose to request an unblock, I'd suggest the reviewing admin consider a BLP topic ban to prevent any other occurance of bigoted comments and POV pushing. If this seems unacceptable, I encourage you to go somewhere else. Standard block template will be posted below. --Floquenbeam (talk) 18:00, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
The article San Francisco Bay Area Regional Water Quality Control Board has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
There is no inherent notability for such run of the mill entities found everywhere, and the link to some organization's website doesn't add any.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Drmies (talk) 16:46, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting
with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here
with your rationale:
